Here we have my favorite OC, Kikiya, with a recent favorite princess, Aurora. This is the first crossover picture that I actually drew, so I guess you could say this sparked everything else. Some of you might be wondering why the dress isn't pink; regardless of the fact that I do usually put Kiki in pink, the dress, in reality, is blue through the majority of the movie. It is only pink when it is being made, and at the end of the movie before the story book closes (which may be why it is advertised in pink). It may also appear pink because Aurora's name refers to the dawn, which is associated with pink, or because it is a happier color. But personally, I think pink is such a girly color and, while Aurora is feminine, she has a great deal of maturity. That being said, I do prefer in blue because I think it suits her much more. Here's why Kiki was selected for Aurora:
-Like Aurora, I imagine Kiki to have a light but powerful singing voice.
-Kiki is elegant, and often walks around barefoot.
-Kiki doesn't want to be royalty.
-Kiki also doesn't want her arranged marriage (Aurora decides otherwise once she realized who she's betrothed to, but still.)
-Kiki doesn't know her real name, and doesn't know her parents (After all, Aurora grew up as "Briar Rose")
-Tora (one of Sylence's antagonist) is "out to get" Kiki, more or less.
-Kiki actually does go through a period of a coma-like sleep at one point of the story. Chances are that a Sleeping Beauty reference will actually be made in that chapter.
Next up is one of my two childhood favorites, Ariel!

my, Kiki sure does look absolutely beautiful and enchanting in the Blue Dress
